  * 2012-02 Stan R said that Arch Reactor makes it easy for him, by keeping their info in Google Calendar.
  * 2012-03 Stan R found it easier to add a monthly item from Byte-Works because they are now using a Google Calendar.
    * Gary M suggested that we had too many items on calendar, causing newcomers to get lost.  Stan R disagreed.

  * Acquired 2x2U Dell and 2x2U IBM sets of HW
  * Configured one as a new VM server
  * ToDo (from Noah Lance):
  * Finalize Network (openvswitch isn't happy with linux 3.1), Web GUI, Host monitoring/management configurations
  * Build storage configuration - NFS server for images (templates) and home dirs for all VMs
  * Validate Web GUI functionality
  * Setup Debian 6 VMs for Bud & Budlight
  * Attempt p2v of Amber so updates can be tested before pushing to production
  * Possible future enhancement - LDAP/Kerberos for SSO to production servers?
  * Need to resolve CNAME/A Record issue for sluug.org?
  * 2010-07 - Renewed SLUUG.ORG domain during 9 July migration work party.
  * 2011-08 - EveryDNS migration to DynDNS caught us unprepared. Craig moved us to buddyns.
    * Lee has made copies of zone files and we have BIND on amber now as an authoritative server.
    * We should probably make sure buddyns has up-to-date contact info. 
  * 2011-12 Michelob is dead.
    * Joe B. Volunteers to do fix on Michelob, will get together with Gary M.

  * 2012-02 Lee installed Webalizer on the new servers, per Stan's request.
  * 2012-03 Stan is getting some technical response of his email problem.
    * Much discussion of Mike Knight's research and possible work around.
    * Don and Gary did some testing using Apple mail clients, with results showing same problems.
  * 2012-04 Need to run updates on AMBER or plan for alternate virtual install to migrate over.

    * We have a voice recorder (VC) for recording meeting presentations and have posted some results on web site.
    * On 28 Oct Stan R suggested buying an additional VC so that there wouldn't be a single point of failure.
      * We forget who has it.
      * We forget to bring it.
      * We forget to turn it on.
      * We forget fresh batteries.
      * We forget how to turn it on.
      * We forget to free up space on it.
    * There was some STEERCOM list banter but nothing was brought up at 3 November Steering Committee meeting.
    * Alternative of video recording suggested, huge size of video files was mentioned.
    * Stan R  passed voice recorder to Gary M on 18 November and doesn't want it back.
    * Noah volunteered an old Digital8 recorder.
  * 2011-01 Continued discussion, but no consensus.
  * 2011-02 Not discussed during IRC meeting.
  * 2011-03 Gary M returned voice recorder to Stan R before going to Florida.
    * Stan needs to pull February 2011 STLLUG recording and post it (on Amber).
      * And email it to the speaker (Igor Gueths).
  * 2011-04 Stan R  passed on voice recorder to Phil Bunch, who should be at next general meeting.
  * 2011-05 Phil B  passed voice recorder back to Stan R.
  * 2011-05 Craig suggested getting another voice recorder (or 2), and extra batteries.
  * 2011-06 Jeff wanted to move that we use some of the Novell money to buy a second recorder.
    * Did not have a quorum.
    * Stan suggested getting one that records in ideally OGG, but failing that, MP3. 
      * Either would be better than the current uncompressed format.
  * 2011-07 Group unanimously voted to buy 2 new voice recorders.
    * As long as they do not require Windows drivers.
    * Preferably record in OGG format, or MP3 at the least.
    * Upper limit $100 each.
    * Jerry and Lee will research and purchase.

  * 2011-09 Jerry has sent pricing information to Lee
  * 2011-10 No action on voice recorders.  
    * Much discussion about projectors.  Jerry S will research available units. 
  * 2011-11 Jerry and Lee still researching projectors and voice recorders.

  * 2012-02 Don Ellis has been video recording presentations in recent months.
    * Need to get him to post those to the official web sites.
  * 2012-02 Jerry has an associate who can help convert voice and video recordings to MP3 and Ogg.
  * 2012-03 Jerry has an associate working on conversions.  No decision on new hardware.
  * 2012-04 Michael Jackson offers to voice record meetings and provide us with sound file.

  * 2011-01 Mike Knight's emails regarding web site.
    * Stan changed the copyright dates.
    * Good idea to list other Open Source friendly resources.
      * On a separate page from our own SIGs.
      * Sites like WITS, CVillage, Arch Reactor, 2600.
    * Our site layout has not changed for years.
      * Would take some effort to re-do it, and seems to be working for most people.
  * 2011-02 Stan hasn't gotten around to building new resources page, yet.
  * 2011-03 No change.

  * 2011-05 No change.
  * 2011-06 There was brief discussion of implementing a CMS at the work party on 5/21. No decisions made.
  * 2011-07 Gary noticed Wayback machine has STOPPED archiving our server as of about May 2009.
    * It would be good to get resumption of archiving at Wayback.
      * How can we accomplish this?  We don't know; so, we appointed Gary M. to find a way.

  * Jerry suggested we print up some business cards for the group.
    * Stan showed some examples he had done previously.

      * Thank you Lee.  Cards look really great!  Oohhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhhhh!
      * Extra cards were given to Gary M for posting on bulletin boards.
    * 2012-04 Lee has ordered some matching stationary, 2 reams paper and 1 card stock.

  * MagnetCon wants to hold a Linux conference in St. Louis.
    * Tried last year, but canceled.
    * 2012-02 We should try to help them out if we can.

===== New Pamphlets =====
  * 2012-04  - Stan R with considerable help from Christine Wanta has produced a pamphlet on Free Open Source Software (FOSS).
    * It should be very complementary to what we hawk at the St. Louis Business Expo Linux Booth.
	* The pamphlet has been added to the SLUUG Resources Handouts page
	* Another pamphlet is planned to highlight our Google calendar and list regular meeting days of the month.
	* Lee suggested a single page calendar poster also.

  * 2012-04 We need to confirm Dr. Lemon's commitment and possibly step up search for new location.

====== Annual Requirements ======
  * April 2012 - First Saturday, reserve rooms at St. Louis County Library Branches.
  * May 2012 - IRS Form 990-N for Tax Exempt Status.
  * July 2012 - Renew SLUUG.ORG domain.
