The answer is - Build a machine they can **use everyday**. Starting with a good platform such as NexRadix, we would add:

  * OpenOffice
  * Samba for file/printer sharing
  * Palm Desktop (or other PDA)
  * Quickbooks or Peachtree
  * Firefox
  * PDF Viewer
  * E-mail client, possibly with exchange connector
