===== JOBS Mailing List =====
* Historically SLUUG had discouraged postings of jobs on our mailing lists.
* Such job postings could be perceived as SPAM.
* With drastically lower member employment, job postings have been considered acceptable.
* Ideally SLUUG would offer something to paid sponsors and receive credit and compensation.
* 2012-06 Jeff Muse volunteered to create a JOBS mailing list.
* We'll also add an archive of the list on the web.
* 2012-07 (late June) Jeff had indicated earlier that there were problems. Nothing additional reported.
* 2012-08 Jeff has been AWOL
* 2012-09 Jeff got it working. Now testing.
* Documentation?
* Before trying to set up kind of Policy?
* We believe we'll open it up to use, to see how members use it. Announce it on DISCUSS
to sign up . for now JOBS no longer welcome on DISCUSS list. See what happens instead of
beating our heads against the wall.
