* UMSL New Information Systems Prof on Security (thru contact Prof. Sanjiv Bhatia) Maurice Dawson.
I misunderstood and Sanjiv straightened me out. Mau is in B. Scools' Infor Syst dept. I was looking for him in CS.
Gary met him when he spoke at the Security Conference at UMSL on Nov 20.
Phone number on UMSL website is incorrect. The correct # is 516-6288.
Dawsonmau@umsl.edu should work according to Sanjiv so Gary is trying that.
Gary has left him voice mail on 2 May with offer of opportunity to speak. No response yet.
Yi Yang (Security professor at Fontbonne)
Security issues, Key management
Gabe Hope did GPU talk for ACM in Nov. He got his Masters and has moved on to Brown University.
Gary had tried to contact him thru Dr. Jeremy Buhler, the faculty advivor for UEP frat. jbuhler@wustl.edu. 935-6180
Dr. Buhler has offered to see if another student could talk about GPUs.
Physics dept could be another source for a GPU talk.
See sluug.org/calendar on March 31 for Intro to GPU based parallel programming with CUDA".
It was a 1 of 4 talks specifically for the Physics dept's new GPU cluster.
Good Job, Gary!

Gary and Craig asked to reconsider MEETUP.COM.
It's a place to find meetings.
It does cost money ($12 / month).
It helps attendees of similar groups find our group.
DECISION: We'll ask for volunteers on DISCUSS to "own" the group.
Craig - Contact Ed Schneider about MEETUP.COM Group creation and maintenance.
