  • 2017-06-26 for JULY
  • 2017-07-31 for AUGUST
  • 2017-08-28 for SEPTEMBER
  • 2017-10-02
    • Stan's the magician
  • 2017-10-30 for NOVEMBER
    • Stan R deleted home page access to old volunteering page. It may have had an archaic e-mail address as we never received anything from it.
    • Stan R made some edits on Special Interest Group (SIG) drop down. The sLUGs SIG web page indicates end of meetings, much like other discontinued SIGs.
    • Stan R & Don E will coordinate addition of video links to home page and/or G+ page by December Steercom meeting.
  • 2017-12-04
    • STLWEBDEV.ORG domain was automatically renewed
    • Stan R is asking why we're supporting the domain other than for their mailing list. He receives email, but has never been able to post on the list. Not sure how to sign up for the list.
    • Gary saw on Meetup.com a group name that sounds dedicated to the same topic. Will this one continue, or be absorbed into the Meetup?
  • 2018-01-02
  • 2018-02-06
    • Copyright date on web page footer changed.
    • Appearance of the drop down list of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) has been completely cleaned up by removing defunct groups.
    • Stan R has been experimenting with altering the SLUUG General Meeting current design with new structure TEST design.
      • This structure is same as the one Andrew Latham provided for the STL LUG and is now being used for all of our active LUGs.
      • Have not yet been able to figure out color scheme coding.
      • Setting the right sequence of sections for smart phone display will be important; but, is proving to be quite hard to manipulate.
      • Most sections look fine on desktop FireFox browser display; but, some are missing on smart phone display possibly because of considerable errors in HTML.
  • 2018-03-05
    • Stan R had wrong meeting date on SLUUG main page (it still showed January date) and failed to update SLUUG February topics on MEETUP page.
  • Lee Lammert updated SLUUG February topics on the MEETUP page.
  • Above errors, delays and omissions may have affected SLUUG general meeting February attendance.
  • ANNOUNCE for the week and our Google Calendar entries had correct information.

  • 2017-12-04
    • A total of 336 have joined with our MEETUP.COM site (as of 30 Nov)
    • There is a new interface structure to MEETUP.COM maintenance, making changes difficult.
    • Example: Deleting duplicate information for SLACC meetings was hard to do and MIGHT have inadvertently sent cancellation messages.
    • We continue to need someone to help utilize MEETUP.COM resource.
    • Maintenance to MEETUP.COM is not done with scripts. It is user interface intensive. ~ stanr
    • (Stan) – Hate the world. Except for chocolate. Should we be on FaceBook or Slack for social media interaction?
  • 2018-01-02
    • As of 31 December a total of 340 have joined with our MEETUP.COM site. See counts in the Other Kinda Stuff Report above.
