There is a new interface structure to MEETUP.COM maintance, making changes difficult.
Example: Deleting duplicate information for SLACC meetings was hard to do and MIGHT have inadvertantly sent cancellation messages.
We continue to need someone to help utilize MEETUP.COM resource.
Maintance to MEETUP.COM is not scriptable. It is user interface intensive. ~ stanr

sLUGs meeting reservations have been made for October, November and December at Prairie Commons.
Next six month StL County Library room reservations were made and paid.
Email confirmations have not yet been received.
Some reservations may have been made with wrong group name (ie. SLACC vs HZWLUG).
Thornhill Library Branch will remain open thru June, instead of the previously announced closing for renovation.
Prairie Commons Library Branch now open; but, had very limited available dates, with only one room that can be reserved.
Only SLACC has consistant day of the month schedule with Thornhill location.
The HZWLUG meetings are spread accross Prairie Commons and Indian Trails with variable day of the month dates.
Not all scheduled dates are on 4th Tuesday of each month; but, they are on Tuesday.
The sLUGS (StL LUG for Seniors) meetings are spread accross Prairie Commons and Rock Road with variable Friday afternoon dates.
Not all scheduled dates are on 2nd Friday of each month; but, they are on Friday.
Some other previously scheduled October, November or December reservations might be moved to Indian Trails, Prairie Commons, or Rock Road.
Next date for StL County Library room reservations will be first Saturday in April (1 April 2017).

Oct 7 is the day for reservations!! Stan R. will do HZWLUG and Phil Bunch will do SLACC.
In Oct, Stan recommended there will no longer be a sLug due to limited attendance! Oct's mtng was cancelled. …as is next and all future.
Stan was going to get refund from Library. It was a great idea, unfortunately we didn't attract more attendees.
Possibly/probably the demographic "seniors" or "retired" would more likely be contacted thru other advertising sources than those active in the industry (Meetup, Slack,…).
It had seemed reasonable that we would "inherit" members from the old MS-oriented group but didn't happen.

Did we just not get advertising out in the best medium?
Perhaps it is likely that "seniors" & "retired" are not tuned in to the same media (social or otherwise) as the younger/active-workers (MeetUp, Slack,…) (where we also seem to need help).
Its a shame we didn't inherit the attendees from the old MS group but they probably were loosing attendance anyway leading to them disbanding.

He did NOT say he would not redo his presentation for us, so there is still hope. We'll need to contact him again.
