Situation at Contegix remains, running obsolete CentOS
Contegix has requested we move to more modern host system at much reduced monthly cost over standard rates (getting it free for past 10 years); have not yet received proposal.

Mike Knight has been cleaning house to reduce volume [of Gary's email] that needs to be migrated
Lee has been discussing terms with Contegix for continued service
Lee has explored Digital Ocean – they can't send valid confirmation mail

Phil Bunch had success with all SLACC meeting dates and using Rock Road locations. Stan missed Saturday registration for HZWLUG.
All preferred Prairie Commons dates were Library reserved anyway, and differing dates and locations had to be found. The Indian Trails Branch messed up confirmations.
STL County Library Reservation made for SLACC and HZWLUG done, two payments still needed. i
Our web page schedules updated, still need to update location information on our Google calendar and all MEETUP information.
Problem with activating new Regions bank card used to make payments.
2018-06-04
Was able to pay for rooms with new Regions bank card; but, one of the meetings may not be properly credited by library.
The new Regions bank card may need to be realigned with different Federal account number.

New reservation system revealed that one December 2018 session had not been booked.
Unfamiliar staff booked some HZWLUG meetings to wrong branch.
Corrected reservations, confirmed all and paid all.
HZWLUG and SLACC home pages have been updated to indicate scheduled dates and room codes.

Gary commented on last week’s DevOps meeting - poor presentation but good food resulted in good attendance.
How do we get headhunters & job hunters to attend, resulting in good food.
Or, how to get commercial software vendors to sponsor meeting if we’re not in market for the software?
2018-11-07
The new style SLUUG home page no longer features a rotating sponsor logo display.

With the transition from AMBER to BOCK we switched to using web pages on BOCK where mailing list sign ups are broken.
Magnanimous Mike Knight provided a
DNS procedure with local /etc/host which provided a work-around process.
Stan R was able to send out the ANNOUNCE mailing using that work-around process.
Andrew St Clair wrote a script to help massage ANNOUNCE text; but, GOOGLE changed calendar text structure, negating effort.
Gary M never got together with Stan R to see how ANNOUNCE was assembled and deployed (Outstanding action item since 2017-06).
